This was a nice wrap up to the series. The author did an excellent job in finalizing Jay and Kayla’s relationship. The readers are able to see the fun side of Kayla; whereas the last book she was rather serious. Tess, Kayla’s best friend, also has a role in this book. I found Tess to be funny and wished that there was more from her POV. I really like Jay and wish that we were able to get to know him a little better. For a novella, this was very good. I highly recommend readers to complete this short trilogy in order. Each book begins where the last one ends.
I wish to thank the author for a free copy of this book. My review was not based on receiving the book for free but rather was my own opinion. The author has released all three books into a trilogy on February 1st. I am looking forward to reading more books by Ms. Cole. Kuddos for such a nice easy read!
New love. New beginnings. They’re fragile things, so easy to run from.
Kayla’s never felt as sure about anything as she does about Jay. Leaving everything else behind to be with him feels right. But going back to reality is tougher than she thought it would be. And when everyone you’ve always known and trusted has doubts, it’s even harder to ignore your own.
But how do you convince those who know you best, that sometimes, finding your home isn’t about a place?
The third and final book in the Hawaiian Heartbreak trilogy. This book is recommended for readers over the age of 18 due to explicit sexual content
