Krysti from YA and Wine’s Questions for me:

1) If you could have a glass of wine with any author, living or dead, who would it be?

Stephen King

I am scared by most of his books, but he also wrote masterpieces like Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. What it must be like in his mind! He seems both crazy and caring too. He is so multi-faceted as an author. I imagine his mind to be this maze like ms. pac-man and I love that he allows his imagination to roam free. I would ask him what he likes to read, what he does for fun, what scares him, his favorite movies etc. Seriously, what impresses a guy like this?

2) Which debut novel are you most looking forward to in 2017?
✧ Shadow’s Seduction (Immortals After Dark, #17; The Dacians, #2) by Kresley Cole. This is IAD’s first foray into the m-m genre but more importantly, we get more of King Lothaire, the enemy of old!

This is a series that must be experienced on audio! Lothaire is one of my favorite books of all time.

3) What book are you head-over-heels in cover love with?

It’s just simple and bold. Ummm, can I have those pumps in size 9 please?

4) Which author have you been most excited about interacting with online?
✧ Rebecca Zanetti. She is one of my favorite authors and she is so nice. Plus she answers questions quickly! She is really a nice lady. I’ve met her a few times.

5) If you could write your own novel, what genre would it be?
✧ Romance, of course. That’s my thing 😀

6) I REALLY liked Mandy’s question about “what authors are insta-buys for you?” So yeah, that one!
✧ Amy Harmon, Colleen Hoover, Larissa Ione, Lisa Kleypas and Rebecca Zanetti

7) What series are you currently following that you never want to end?
✧ Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward; Demonica by Larissa Ione; Her Russian Protectors by Roxie Rivera

8) Who is your best book bae?
✧ I have several but right now, I belong to Tobias Eaton “Four” from Divergent series.

Seriously, I get the flurries in my belly when I see him. He’s not the cute like Chris Hemsworth or Henry Cavil. But in the Divergent series, he walks like he owns the damn universe. Swagger for days. I love that confidence of a bad ass that Four exudes! So he is my choice for bae.

9) Share a link to one of your favorite blog posts that you’ve done.
Ezi’s Favorite Books of 2016

10) What is your favorite part about being book blogger?
✧ Sharing books that I love with others of like mind. Interacting with other readers is a joy I cannot express.

11) Share a pic of you and your book bestie, cause we all need one of those.
Can I share pictures with my favorite authors instead?

(Rebecca Zanetti and Larissa Ione)

I love this post and getting to know a little more about you! I have a couple confessions:
    1. We may have to fight over Tobias (lol). I love Four.
    2. I own at least 6 Black Dagger books either kindle or audible versions and have never read them. *GASP* I need to get on that immediately.

Thank you so much for the nomination!!

Tijuana, I came to Goodreads after I read twilight in 2010. I googled what to read after twilight and it took me to a listopia on Goodreads. I signed up at Goodreads and read the top series on that list BDB. Let’s just say I didn’t go to work a single day on time that week. I was reading a book a day until I read up to book 9. It’s a first love thing but an awesome series. Book 4 is my favorite in the series. I actually don’t enjoy them on audio although on retreads I used audio to help with the pronunciation of names.

      2. Tobias…if you only knew the depth of my obsession with Four. If you (or my husband) understood, lol.
Thanks for checking out the post.

I’m mad at the screen writers for ruining the book on film. They really didn’t translate it well to screen.

I won’t tell your hubby if you don’t tell mine. Actually, mine might know since I talk about Four to him. LOL
I am definitely going to check out BDB soon. I use audible or books on CD because some days are so busy, that’s the only way I can read. Plus I like to turn the hubster out on occasion. 😉
Are you going to Holiday with the Belles in Dallas? I’m so upset I won’t be in Dallas for that. I’ll be there the last week in Feb. I’ve never been to a signing. RT will be my first in May.

        • Ezinwanyi says:

Every time I plan on going to Holiday with the Belles, there was a family event, some wedding etc. I’ve lost money twice after I bought tickets and couldn’t go.
I really want to go to RT in Atlanta. If you do make it to Dallas for a signing, I’ll meet you for a drink

      • YAandWine says:

No, I’ve actually never gone to a big book con. The authors I’ve met have all been at my local indie book store for the most part. But that’s sounds awesome!

        • Ezinwanyi says:

The first time I went was 2 years ago as it was in Dallas. So I drove everyday and saved myself the hotel fees. It was awesome. I brought my books from home and the authors signed them. Then I ended up with about 70 extra free books. It was awesome. Then last year I went to Vegas. I needed a mommy vacation anyway so I told my husband “see ya!”. The first couple of days I felt guilty but I soon learned my hubby called my mom for reinforcement so from the day I left, he had Grandma there to help. The kids were in good hands
