A sexy new M/M romance from New York Times Bestselling author Tessa Bailey

When CEO Renner Bastion walks into a room, everyone keeps their distance. Well, everyone but the sarcastic, tattooed, Boston-bred security guard whose presence has kept Renner in New Jersey longer than intended. As if the unwanted attraction isn’t unsettling enough, Renner finds out his protector isn’t as unavailable as originally thought.

Milo Bautista just came out to his wealthy, ultra-confident boss, a man he secretly respects and admires…in more ways than he’ll admit. Worldly, experienced Renner would never look in his direction, let alone share some of that confidence he wears like a cloak, so Milo has set his sights on someone else to be his first.

Until Renner offers him private lessons in seduction...

Renner Bastion came off as an uptight, self-centered business man whom Milo Bautista had his hands full trying to protect. When Milo confides in his boss Renner, that he is attracted to a man for the first time and is struggling with how to proceed, Renner offers to coach him on landing this secret crush. What the reader ends up with seduction lessons that ended up as a satisfying love affair.

For an author who doesn’t usually write M-m romances, I was impressed. Renner and Milo really worked as a couple. Their personality difference really made this story interesting. Renner was intense, serious and single-minded on his career endeavors. Milo was more observant, relaxed and flexible to those around him. Renner was more of a loner, while Milo enjoyed camaraderie. It became really clear to me that they were the others missing piece because this relationship was exactly what they needed to balance their respective lives.

I didn’t read the prior books and I wish I had because I would have liked a little more build up in regards to the characters. I could also tell that the author laid the foundation in the prior books so I will go back and read from book 1. In terms of this book, Tessa Bailey did a great job in building the angst. Renner and Milo was also very sexy together. As opposites, they fought regularly which also lead to regular make up sessions. As Milo gained confidence in his sexual identity, he was able to bring Renner out of his shell more. Together they were peanut butter and jelly, Renner’s strong to Milo’s sweetness. I enjoyed the sex scenes but I wish these misunderstandings were worked out much quicker as Renner’s lack of trust became tedious. The only thing I would change is less sex and more romance, to build their connection. Milo was really a sweet guy so the connection could have been much deeper on an emotional level so the reader can really feel more than just hot physical chemistry. Still I was enjoyed this story and I was pleased with this conclusion of this story. I haven’t read Tessa Bailey before though I own a couple of her books, I look forward to becoming more acquainted with her work through this series.

Politics, puppy dogs, and passion, oh my!

When his Republican opponent outs him with a photo in a Facebook post, Senator Samuel Dalton doesn’t have many options open to him. It doesn’t matter that the photo is totally innocent. He has no choice but to come clean… until his staff suggest putting a spin on it that leaves Sam reeling.

Sure, he’ll end up with a lot of sympathy, not to mention the possibility of more voters from the LGBT community, but it still seems a pretty drastic solution.

Now all they have to do is persuade Gary, the other man in the photo, to play along. It sounds so easy: convince the constituents of North Carolina that he and Sam are engaged.

No big deal, except for the fact that they’ve only just met….

THIS!!! I had starry heart eyes from the beginning to the end!!! Loved it.

This is my absolute favorite of the Dreamspun Desires series. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I was smiling and enjoying Samuel and Gary. Loved their fake relationship. It was everything I could ask for. A few of the Dreamspun Desires books have left me feeling underwhelmed and I’m not to familiar with K.C. Wells work either, but this was A+.

This was a lite, low angst, sweet, sugary feel good story. I guess I read it at the right time. I loved all the characters of the story. I think Samuel and Gary were perfect for each other. Anytime anyone mentions Will & Grace, then you have a friend in me. Senator Samuel is in the middle of a primary campaign when an innocent photo of him hugging his employee is blown out of proportion.

It forces Samuel to come out the closet. Something he had no plan on doing. Gary is given an offer he can’t refuse. What happens next is the sweetest story ever. I swear this book forced me to watch Love Actually. I was super enamored by these two, that I didn’t want it to end at all!

I like the gradual incline of the relationship. I kinda wish we learned or some more of Gary’s life. I get it Samuel was the one everything revolved about, but those little morsels that we learned about Gary forced me to think about him and see him in his setting. I would loved to see him at school, or amongst peers when Samuel shows up. I did like them getting together talking, and falling for each other. This one seemed to just happen. I think the author did a fantastic job on letting the story unfold and be magical all by itself. Super happy with this edition. I might just grab the next in the series.

About K.C. Wells

Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative.
An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….
K.C. loves to hear from readers.
