In this scorching Immortals After Dark/Dacian novel, #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole brings together a wicked vampire prince used to getting everything he desires and a demon warrior who always felt like an outcast.

A night of debauchery . . .
Prince Mirceo Daciano and his new friend, Caspion the Tracker, comb the streets of Dacia, drunkenly seeking out pleasures of the flesh. In what should have been a typical night, they coax a bevy of nymphs to bed. To impress their females, the demon and the vampire kiss on a dare.

Changes them forever . . .
Once they finally break away from their soul-searing kiss, they find themselves alone—and shaken. Had they imagined their explosive chemistry? Obstacles—ranging from a death sentence to exile in a war-torn dimension—threaten to destroy their lives . . . and the vulnerable promise in that one kiss.

How long can they resist the fire that blazes between them?
Even if Mirceo can accept Caspion as his fated mate, the seductive vampire still must convince the stubborn demon that their bond is forever. And any royal Dacian union must receive the blessing of King Lothaire, an unpredictable and savage killer…

Dear Kresley Cole,

You could have done so much better.

Okay rambling ragey review to commence.

First, I would like to know why put the first 8 chapters of a book that’s coming out in the next month or so. What’s the fecking point? I didn’t read the 8 chapters because I feel CHEATED that this book was over at 80%? Come on Kresley Cole. You should have known better. If you had some fear or backlsh from your inbred fans who is going to lash out about you writing a M/M book then you should not have done it unless you was going to GIVE IT YOUR BEST. This was freaking subpar at best. I mean, it ended. Just like that. Do we have to wait another 5 years to get a conclusion to their story? Or will you somehow write something that is worthy to us M/M folks. I am going to be really honest hear, I was so skeptical of you writing a book in this genre. I really loathe the m/f writers jumping on the band wagon of this genre just to make money. Now, I don’t believe that’s you because you have 2 successful series, and you didn’t need to write these characters. Whatever compelled you to do it, kudos to you. Hopefully it’ll convince Illona Andrews to write a Barabas & Christopher story without fear of ugly mofos protesting it.

Here’s the thing, Its a damn book. If you don’t like the subject then don’t read it or rate it. Damn, it’s so fecking simple. All you had to do was ignore it, but its completely unfair to rate a book 1 star and your dumbass didn’t read it.

The first 25% of this story was disjointed and choppy sentences. I don’t know what happened with you, but I take offense completely to you writing this. I take offense that not only was it not your best content, but you decided to leave the damn story as a cliffhanger. Why? Why not make it full length seeing as I don’t think their sequel will be a priority for you. I will straight up compare it to Sweet Ruin, oversexed and not enough plot. Its as best as I can describe it. Will the potiential problem be in the next novel coming out in April? I think not, its about a new couple we don’t know anything about. At this point, I would rater the series to be over then to drag it out and have mediocre ass writing. I’m disappointed because I’m a fan of this series, and you decided to take a genre that was everything to me, and make it absymal at best. The only position thing that saved me was that I enjoyed both characters. I really liked Mirceo & Caspion together. It’s the only reason why it got its 3 stars.

I don’t even know if I’m buying your next book.

A pissed off Mika

An immortal assassin is caught between desire and duty in this sizzling new novel from Kresley Cole’s #1 New York Times bestselling Immortals After Dark series.A foundling raised in a world of humans Growing up, orphaned Josephine didn’t know who or what she was—just that she was “bad,” an outcast with strange powers. Protecting her baby brother Thaddeus became her entire life. The day he was taken away began Jo’s transition from angry girl…to would-be superhero…to enchanting villain. A lethally sensual enforcer on a mission Whether by bow or in bed, archer Rune the Baneblood never fails to eliminate his target. In his sights: the oldest living Valkyrie. Yet before he can strike, he encounters a vampiric creature whose beauty mesmerizes him. With one bite, she pierces him with aching pleasure, stealing his forbidden blood—and jeopardizing the secrets of his brethren. A boundless passion that will lead to sweet ruin… Could this exquisite female be a spy sent by the very Valkyrie he hunts? Rune knows he must not trust Josephine, yet he’s unable to turn her away. When Jo betrays the identity of the one man she will die to protect, she and Rune become locked in a treacherous battle of wills that pits ultimate loyalty against unbridled lust.

This could have easily been a 5 star read for me. Take away the porn the copious amounts of sex and way more action then bam it would have felt like the old IAD series. Not saying this wasn’t good, because it was. Jeez, K.C knows how to write a sex scene. Rune might be one of the better dirtier talkers we seen. I loved Jo, yes as a female lead she was wonderful!

I spent about half of the book wondering what Jo was. I got part of her right based on her description. I’m kinda glad we moved on from the Valkyries & Witches. Jo was a head strong little girl. I loved her descriptions at the beginning of the story. Liked her telling of things happening around her. I thought she had so much strength when it came to Thaddeus.

Cameron Diaz

I know people are going to be up in arms about Rune’s revelation towards Jo, but I liked that part the most. Yes it wasn’t insta-love, life and mate! Rune’s reservations are so valid. He tells us why, and I’m so happy that he didn’t automatically do what everyone else wanted. I really enjoyed the introduction to the Morior! They fascinated me so well.

NIX!!!! Yes, just to get a piece of her was so good. Nix was not playing around in this book. Her Goddesshood is coming up, and honestly I think that Nix is trying to avoid the Accession at the end of the day. I think we’ve been introduced to Nix’s mate in this book. I hope it’s the guy that it is. That means two opposites sides of the Accession at this point. I loved the side characters, I want to actually read more about Dalli, we haven’t had a nymph’s book yet. The Morior’s people as well. The first Lykae, and the Demon. I definitely want their stories. All in all this was a really good story. All the bits of action that we were given, I absorbed so much.

**All the sex gifs is how I felt about the filler sex happening in the story. Seriously, if we took away half of the sex and replaced it with action then this could have been a top 5 book in the series! I can’t wait for more**
